This passage is intended to familiarize you with the registration process and the steps to create your own digital safe. It contains important information for choosing a digital safe deposit box variant, instructions for setting it up and other important information.
The MySafee variant is a basic full-featured version of the application. It is designed for those of you who are not afraid to share your personal information (even if it cannot be verified as real) on the internet and social networks. This version registers your personal information and shares your email address with you. The version allows you to recover your forgotten password and even if you lose it, you will not lose the ability to access your digital safe. As in all versions of MySafee, we do not have the ability to check the documents you have stored. Therefore, we urge users to respect the prohibition of saving documents with racist themes, child pornography, documents spreading hatred towards other persons and any other documents whose dissemination may fulfill the facts of a criminal offence. When you stop using the digital safe, you will be asked to vacate the documents stored by you. However, you need not be concerned as even in the event of non-payment of the service, we will give you 30 days to access your documents and only after a further 30 days have elapsed will we proceed to dispose of your digital safe. The disposal will delete all your stored documents. However, we are confident that you will become our long-standing satisfied customers who will use your MySafee digital safe.
The MySafee Crypto variant is a modification of the basic MySafee version and is designed for those of you who are not willing to provide any of your personal information to the internet or social networks. However, this means that it is impossible for us to communicate with each other. We cannot reset a forgotten password or notify you by email that your subscription has expired. Everything will be entirely in your control, and the only information available to us will be whether or not the digital safe, marked with a mere number combination with no indication of the owner, has paid for the service. If the situation arises that the service has not been paid for more than 60 days, we will have no choice but to proceed with the disposal of such digital safe. The advantage of this version of MySafee is that it provides complete protection of your privacy, personal identity and all disposition of the digital safe is subject to your sole discretion.
The MySafee Free variant allows you to try the service for 30 days in free mode. If you upgrade to the full version of the service, your safe settings and stored documents will be preserved.
It is a digital space with preset elements that allow easy handling of your saved Documents. It is up to you to decide how you want to design the internal partitioning of the safe to fit your needs. Each user has different needs, a different number of household members, family members and the amount of Documents that they themselves deem appropriate to store in MySafee. ndividual structure can be created in the web application. The mobile app allows you to view the safe and add or share documents.
After logging into the mobile app, you will see a splash screen on your device that clearly displays the contents of your safe. The screen is divided into three main sections:
The navigation bar is at the top of the screen. Here you have the option to search your safe and also change the style of the content display. It is up to you which of the display options suits you better.
The safe section, which takes up most of the screen space, is used to view your saved content. Here you can see up to 6 Strongboxes that you may have created in the web app. If you don't see any content here yet, you will need to go to your computer and create the structure after logging into the web application. For detailed instructions on how to do this, see the Web Application Guide. Inside the Strongbox, browse through the Boxes where you can already see the individual documents. You can use the Mobile App to upload documents to the Safe or, conversely, share them from the app. The contents of all your Strongboxes are encrypted and unreadable without properly opening the safe.
The control part of the app is located at the bottom of the screen. The mobile app is primarily used for quick access to your documents from anywhere. For this reason, the Mobile App contains only the most important functions, which are: viewing the contents of the safe, importing and sharing documents.
You can add a document to your safe by simply taking a photo or uploading it from your mobile device's file or photo gallery. You can specify the location of a document in a specific Box in the Mobile App right when you import the document. However, if you are in a hurry, you can select a specific document location later in the Web App.
In the Uploaded Documents section, you can see documents that you have already imported into the app and are waiting to be added to the safe structure. You can do this by logging into the Web Application on your computer. You will see the documents in the import section of the safe.
A special area is the Locked box, which you can activate with another password of your choice.
Last but not least, you have the option to view the user menu. This allows you to look into the settings where you can, for example, adjust your subscription or temporarily lock the safe. The menu also includes a Log History section, giving you continuous control to ensure that your documents are safe.
The detailed function of each icon is included in the Help or can be found later in this Guide. The mobile app allows you to keep all your documents with you at all times in digital form.
The Strongbox is the internal storage area of the safe containing the Boxes and Documents. To increase the clarity of the internal layout, the application does not allow individual Documents to be stored directly in the Strongboxe. Here you can create up to six Strongboxes with names according to your needs.
A Box is a storage space for Documents. Each Box should contain Documents that are related to each other. Use Boxes to sort and store your Documents clearly. Here you can set up and name an unlimited number of Boxes with names according to your needs.
A Document is a data file such as a contract, receipt or any document that you store in a safe and sort it into Boxes according to their importance. By default, the capacity of the safe is preset to store up to 2,000 documents (3,000 documents in the MySafee Crypto version). The safe capacity can be increased at any time in the application settings.
You can assign a document to a specific Strongbox and Box in the Mobile App right when you upload the document. If you do not assign a specific location to the imported document, it will automatically be placed in the Uploaded Documents section. From there, you can move them later using the Web App.
The application determines
the order of Boxes, Strongboxes and documents alphabetically by name. All safe contents can also be sorted by date of acquisition or size in the list view. So it's up to you which option you choose.
A number in the upper right corner of each Strongbox or Box icon indicateswhen the Strongbox or Box is full. This displays an indication of how many Boxes or Documents that particular Strongbox or Box contains.
Here you will find an overview of all accesses to your digital safe. The application allows you to register unauthorized access attempts to your digital safe by entering an incorrect password. In this case, the application will alert you to this attempt, assign an IP address and identify the country from where this attempt to access your safe is being made.
When you select this option, you will be redirected to the MySafee website in a new browser window where you can browse the User Guide and get help on how to use the application.
The language of the app is automatically determined by the language of the operating system on your mobile device. If the language of the Operating System is different than the one shown below, English will be selected as the primary language.

You can adjust the correct orientation of the captured document image by using the Rotate function, whose icon is located at the bottom of the screen after the image is captured.
The next step after selecting a file or taking a photo is to choose its location in the safe. You can add the Document to the safe structure directly in the mobile app. You can also save the document directly to the Lockbox. In case you do not select a specific location for the newly captured Document in the mobile app, you can include it later using the web application in your computer's web browser. You can then find the document in the import section of the web app.
Procedure for adding a document to the vault structure
If you currently have a Box open in the application into which you want to import documents, just use the Take a Picture or Upload Files icons. In the next step, select Current location.
Important: If you do not have the contents of a specific Box displayed in the application before you start uploading a file/taking a photo, the Current Box location option will not be available.
Uploaded documents
After uploading a new Document (without a defined location) to your safe, the uncategorized Documents will be displayed in the Uploaded Documents section. You can work with the documents that are located in this section in the same way as with the already classified ones. However, we recommend that you include the Documents as soon as possible to make the repository more organized. You can only include documents from this location using the MySafee web application.
You can share your Docs at any time from both your computer and your mobile device. Sharing your Docs is as easy as importing them. For your selected Documents, click on the Share icon after double-clicking on the document. Navigate to Finish Sharing Documents, where Documents can be saved to your mobile device or sent via email or other communication platform of your preference.
You will only see the Finish Sharing feature when you add one or more documents to share. The icon for this feature is "floating" so you can drag it to change its location on your device screen. Copies of the selected Documents to Share are lined up in this section. Select from your device's system menu to whom and how the documents are to be delivered. Documents can also be saved to your mobile device. After successful upload or download, the (already shared) Document will be removed from the sharing section. You can add more Documents to share using the Select More button in the top left. Use the Clear button on the top right to clear the list of selected documents for sharing.
If you add a document to the sharing section of the vault that you don't want to share, just click the Cancel button on the top right and you have the option to mark the documents you want to delete from sharing. Then confirm with the Remove button. Removing a Document from sharing will not delete the document from your repository.
A locked box is a place to store Documents and Boxes for which you want to choose enhanced protection with an additional access password. (useful, for example, if you share access to your safe with third parties)
Security Note: When you activate the Lockbox, you choose your own password to access this part of the Digital Safe. The password you choose should be different from the entry password to your digital safe.
The contents of the digital safe represent your ownership. The application operator does not have access to the safe. Therefore, it is not responsible for the content of the Documents stored by You. For security reasons, we urge users not to leave their Digital Safe open. For security reasons, the digital safe will lock itself for prolonged periods of inactivity. You will be notified in due course when it is locked. The MySafee app will also send you information about all accesses to your digital safe. It will alert you to any attempts to open your digital safe using an incorrectly entered password. The person who uses an incorrect entry password in the mobile app will be identified pictorially and you will see their image in the Log History section, after logging into your MySafee. The security level of the MySafee digital safe meets the latest security standards. It uses elements of bank identity and national identity authority. We therefore urge you to protect and appropriately strong your chosen passwords and other means of access to your MySafee so that you are able to eliminate any attempts at possible unauthorised access to your digital safe.
